Easy ways to gain weight

Now you know when people tell skinny ones – “kuch kha lo!” And relatives be like – “beta mummi kuch khilati nahi hai kya?” How should we explain that we do eat when we want to but the body just does not cooperate! And eating more is easier said than done.

Easy ways to gain weight

So here are a few simple things you can do to gain weight,

Add Ghee

Since eating more than what your appetite allows can be very uncomfortable, it is a wise idea to add calories to whatever you have on the plate. Ghee has healthy fats and believe it or not, that fat is good for the skin too. It helps to nourish the skin from within. So apply ghee to your chapattis. You can replace ghee with butter as well. Pour a teaspoon over your vegetables or curry.

Have Dry Fruits as Snacks

Dry fruits like almonds, cashews and walnuts contain lots of calories and other beneficial compounds which your body could really use. Remember, everything you eat cannot help you to gain healthy weight. Don’t reach out for processed foods or snacks. Snack on dry fruits or oats.

Make Smoothies

Smoothies taste so much better than one single kind of food. But you need to follow a healthy recipe which has good amounts of carbs and other health benefits. So include fruits like bananas or mangoes. Use milk. Do not add artificial sweeteners, they will do you no good. Another amazing ingredient can be peanut butter. Just blend all the ingredients together and have with breakfast. You can use different fruits and add some flavouring to the smoothie as well. No one likes to have plain milk all the time!

Add Cream to Salads and Coffee

Having a fruit salad? Add whipped cream on top. Make a salad dressing, add some cream to that as well. Cream can help you gain weight as well. Another great way of having it is adding it to your coffee. I swear, coffee with some flavored cream will make the rest of the day better!

When everyone is trying to lose weight, it feels odd to address weight gaining tips. But being a skinny person myself, I would like to tell the readers that there is nothing wrong about wanting to gain is important to understand that it is completely up to you to make decisions about your body. If you are comfortable with the way you look, there is no need to gain or lose anything.
